IMPLEMENTING OFFICERS
Implenting officers in Chadayamangalam Gramapanchayat
In the Local Self-Government Institutions of Kerala, the officials entrusted with the planning and time-bound execution of projects are called Implementing Officers.
While the Chief Executive Officer of the local body is the respective Panchayat Secretary, various government departments have been transferred to local bodies as part of decentralized planning. Therefore, officials from the respective departments are designated as the Implementing Officers to execute projects in each sector.

Key Responsibilities of Implementing Officers:
Prepare detailed estimates and plans for the projects approved by the governing body.
Obtain Technical Sanction (TS) for the projects and ensure their time-bound implementation.
Withdraw and utilize the funds allotted for the projects as per rules (Drawing and Disbursing Powers).
Accurately report project progress and financial statements through the Sulekha software and present them before the Finance Standing Committee.
